Welcome to the Transgender Equality Network

The Transgender Equality Network is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of transgender, gender non-conforming, and non-binary people in Northwest Arkansas. We do so by providing resources for folks in the community as well as educational opportunities for local businesses, religious entities, non-profits, and organizations. By expanding awareness, educational opportunities, and advocating for real change in our region, we hope to contribute to making the world a better place for all trans, non-binary and gender non-conforming people.

Finding Your Voice as a Trans Femme

By Bellamy Brooks | October 28, 2020 | 0 Comments

By Bellamy Brooks | September 28, 2020 | 0 Comments

By Bellamy Brooks 09/28/2020 After I came out as transgender and began living my life fully as a woman, I was shocked, at just how different the world looked through this new lens of transphobia, misogyny, and homophobia. This change in perspective opened my eyes to what is really going on in the world. Mostly …
